PebblePad has many benefits over other ePortfolio systems, listed here are just five of the many benefits:

Its design is very appealing, non-threatening and easy to use.

Any organised work that is expected to be conducted in PebblePad is detailed in subject or module guides, assessment briefs or other guidance. This means that the teacher can specify how and when action plans, reflections or experiences should be entered by students and PebblePad lends itself to recording and presenting anything that is asked of it.
It is designed to support many channels of work at once.
Learners rarely work with a single teacher. Because there is not a prescribed route in PebblePad a student can build up assets for many different modules or courses at once, whilst simultaneously recording work for their careers or employability record and whilst recording all of the learning that takes place in non-formal settings. It’s a little like putting all of your thoughts and memories in a big box and pulling special ones out at different times according to the story you are telling at that time.
It is designed for life-long learning.
You can create records or stories in PebblePad from your earliest student experiences; carry on recording significant events and achievements as you continue through higher level courses; present your stories for evaluation of your learning or of your readiness for work and then carry on adding to PebblePad throughout your professional career building evidence for promotion, career change or just to support personal reflections on your learning journey.
